Job description

Padagis is seeking a current college student or recent graduate to work as a Data Science Intern, working closely with our Business Transformation Team to provide support for various projects involving both technical teams and functional business teams.

This position is targeting a minimum of 20 hours per week hybrid/on-site (up to 40 hours), minimum ending in August 2026, commitment beyond August is highly desired and flexible with academic commitments.

Job duties:

  • Data flow investigation and documenting mapping in various systems
  • Business process workflow mapping, document design creation
  • Potential dashboard creation using Power BI desktop
  • Supporting our Master Data and Robotic Process Automations (RPA) teams with various needs

    Required qualifications:

    • Incoming juniors, seniors or graduate students
    • Pursuing an undergraduate/grad degree in the technology space such as: Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related business discipline AND either has a minor, second major, or high interest in a non-technical department, such as:  Operations Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial, etc
    • High openness to experiences, naturally inquisitive, and proactively seeks to understand and has determination to root-cause analyze
    • Inherently a strong communicator: the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms to non-technical stakeholders, and conversely, to articulate business needs to technical teams.
    • Available to work a minimum of 20 hours/week up to 40 hours, duration is negotiable

          Preferred qualifications:

          • Exposure to SAP ERP
          • Coding in Python, SQL, VB or R for statistical modelling and integrations into BI platforms (desired, but not required)
