Job Description

SUMMARY: The EDI Integration Developer role is to set up, develop, maintain, and support maps EDI documents, and workflows connecting trading partners with customers, supplier manufacturers, financial institutions and transportation management systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned at management's discretion.
Perform system configuration, mapping, and management for EDI-based transactions and processes.
Maintain cross reference tables.
Monitor files for delivery and receipt.
Assist in troubleshooting of EDI transactions and workflows.
Identify, analyze and communicate all exception errors to the appropriate trading partners.
Delegate non-EDI issues to the appropriate resources.
Resolve processing issues from other departments.
Perform new partner setups and maintenance, including partner creation, testing, and validation.
Assist in transition of EDI systems to next-generation environments.
Develop and maintain EDI process documentation.
Review and assist in implementation of vendor-supplied EDI patches.

Knowledge And Experience
Working knowledge of EXTOL Business Integrator (EBI)
At least 3 years of EDI mapping experience, working in an EDI production support environment.
Working knowledge of EXTOL Business Integrator (EBI) or similar integration platforms/tools (Informatica, BizTalk etc.) with willingness to learn EBI.
Exceptional proficiency in EDI ANSI X 12 standards.
Proficiency in AS2, FTP, SMTP, TCP/IP, VANs
Strong fundamental understanding of core manufacturing, logistics, Supply Chain, and shipping EDI transaction sets (204, 210, 215, 824, 940 990, 810, 850, 875, 865, 855, 860, 810, 880, 812,)
XML, Web Services, SQL knowledge and experience.
Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Able to learn new concepts and skills quickly.
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Exhibit sound judgment and the ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
Must be flexible, adaptable to change, able to work in fast paced environment, and able to meet deadlines.
Exceptional organizational skills, and demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience with SAP EDI integration a major plus
