Familiarity with EDI translation software (like IBM Sterling or Gentran), APIs, and knowledge of communication protocols (AS2, FTP, SFTP) are often required, and certifications in EDI systems or integration platforms can be an advantage. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication are crucial for troubleshooting data issues and working with internal and external stakeholders. These competencies are vital to ensure accurate, efficient, and secure data transfer between trading partners, supporting critical business operations.
