We are a local, privately owned, and family operated merit-based company. This new position is in response to our recent growth. Job Description

Position Overview: Working within a team, and supported by our technical manager, a service engineer supports every aspect of our customers test equipment. We provide reactive service, planned maintenance, calibrations and installations of new test chambers. We also recondition used equipment, perform control retrofits, and conduct in-house climatic testing. Our clients come from the optics, photonics, aerospace, defense, manufacturing and medical communities. A well-organized, motivated professional with a positive attitude will excel in this role.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Diagnostics and service repairs for commercial refrigeration, including cascade systems
  • Temperature & humidity calibration (NIST traceable and ISO 17025 accredited)
  • Provide planned maintenance services for contract customers
  • Assist with the installation and start up of new equipment
  • Participate in regular training (field, classroom and OEM)
Qualifications
  • 3 years of commercial refrigeration experience
  • Cascade or ultra-low temperature experience preferred
  • EPA section 608 for refrigerant handling
  • Experience with commercial refrigeration or laboratory equipment
  • Ability to work in controlled environments, clean rooms and test labs
  • Interest in moderate travel, ongoing education and bonus compensation
