For immediate hire: We are looking for a full-time, civilian Registered Nurse for the Case Manager position in support of the Traumatic Brain Injury Department. The qualified Registered Nurse will have a minimum of 1 year of direct Case Management experience with individuals and groups with complex, catastrophic, chronic or life changing injuries or TBI.

Typical Schedule:

  • Full time, 40 hours/week
  • Monday - Friday
  • No on-call
  • No federal holidays
  • This position is in-office (Fort Belvoir, VA)

Job Details:

  • Function as a member of an interdisciplinary team to meet individual and family comprehensive health needs. Duties involve planning, coordinating, facilitating, and evaluating health care, serving as an advocate for patient options and services.
  • Participate in all phases of the Case Management Program (CMP) and ensure that the CMP meets established case management (CM) standards of care.
  • Develop treatment plans including preventive, therapeutic, rehabilitative, psychosocial, and clinical interventions to ensure continuity of care toward the goal of optimal wellness.
  • Provide appropriate health care instruction to patient and/or caregivers based on identified learning needs.

Life Support Certifications Needed:

  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS
