Job description

Role Description

This full-time hybrid role is based in Rockville, MD and Tysons Corner, VA, with some flexibility for remote work. As an Associate Attorney specializing in Litigation for Creditor's Rights and Real Estate, you will manage litigation matters involving creditor's rights and real estate disputes, draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda, and represent clients in court. Your responsibilities will also include conducting legal research and case analysis, communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and courts, and assisting with case strategy and file management. You will work closely with other attorneys and legal professionals to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards while delivering exceptional service to clients.

Qualifications

  • Active Virginia Bar admission required
  • Maryland or DC Bar admission preferred
  • 0-3 years of litigation experience, or relevant clerkship/internship
  • Proficiency in conducting thorough and accurate Research
  • Strong Negotiation skills to effectively advocate for clients
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time managment abilities
  • Experience working in both hybrid (office/remote) and collaborative team environments is beneficial
