Join our growing team as a Contract Billing Specialist in our Connellsville office!
Ford Office Technologies mission is helping businesses thrive by delivering cutting edge office technology, solutions, and unparalleled customer experiences. We are seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to play a key role in supporting our accounting team.
As a Contract Billing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing processes for the organization's contractual agreements. You will be responsible for interpreting contractual terms, generating invoices, and managing billing discrepancies.
This role is in-person, Monday through Friday in Connellsville, PA.
  • Answer customer calls for billing and account inquiries.
  • Set-up customer contracts.
  • Create invoices.
  • Accept payments.
  • Process credits.
  • Manage the status of accounts and balances.
  • Set-up billing profiles for new customers and/or changes to existing customers.
  • Process day to day billing files/invoices within strict deadlines.
  • Perform audits of client invoices and account set up with detailed billing components to ensure accuracy as compared to client contracts.
  • Calculate billing adjustments (credit/debit memos) utilizing billing software.
  • Direct communication with customers regarding billing distribution and frequency.
  • Committed to providing excellent customer service.

Requirements
The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced goal-oriented team environment. Must possess a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of contract terms and billing procedures.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience as a Billing Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Ability to deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Excel.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines with a strong sense of urgency.
  • High level of integrity and work ethic.
  • Strong attention to detail
