About the role: The Contracts Administrator supports magniX's contract lifecycle across both buy-side and sell-side agreements. This role works directly with Supply Chain and Commercial teams to coordinate the contracting process and prepare agreements for execution. The Contracts Administrator will also independently execute standard procedural agreements, such as NDAs, and maintain organized, audit-ready contract records as well as manage all contract lifecycles.


Primary Responsibilities:

Negotiation & Contracting Support

  • Support Supply Chain and Commercial teams during contract negotiations with customers, suppliers, and partners
  • Coordinate the flow of redlines and contract documents between business stakeholders and outside counsel
  • Prepare and submit contracts to outside counsel for review ahead of execution on higher-exposure or binding agreements
  • Support both buy-side (supplier/vendor) and sell-side (customer) contract activity

Independent Execution of Low-Exposure Agreements

  • Execute lower exposure agreements independently, such as standard NDAs using existing contractual framework and guidance.
  • Identify when an agreement falls outside set parameters and escalate to leadership and counsel when necessary.

Contract Administration

  • Track contract expirations, renewal dates, and key milestones across buy-side and sell-side agreements
  • Maintain accurate, organized, and audit-ready contract files and records
  • Flag upcoming expirations and renewals to relevant business owners with sufficient lead time
  • Support internal audit and compliance requests related to contract documentation

Process Coordination

  • Serve as the internal point of contact between business stakeholders and outside counsel on contract matters
  • Log and track contract status, approvals, and outstanding action items
  • Escalate contractual issues or ambiguities to counsel or management as appropriate

Cross-Functional Support

  • Work closely with Supply Chain, Program Management, and Finance to keep contract status visible and current
  • Support Supply Chain in tracking supplier agreement compliance and documentation


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business management or equivalent relevant experience
  • 3+ years of experience in contract administration, paralegal support, procurement support, or a related administrative/compliance function

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with contract lifecycle management tools or systems
  • Experience supporting both supplier-side and customer-side agreements
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; comfort working with outside counsel

Location: Applicants must be willing and able to commute to magniX's location in Everett, Washington.
