About the Team

Workday VNDLY is a vendor management system that helps organizations manage their extended workforce and statement of work needs. We are growing to meet the needs of contingent workforce programs across various industries and regions.
The VNDLY Product team partners with Sales, Strategy, Services, Customer Experience and Marketing to identify the most important problems to be solved. We engage with customers, prospects and our go-to-market (GTM) teams to drive the value, awareness, and adoption of our products.
Join our team in North America and be part of a high-growth technology company shaping the future of enterprise software for a global customer base. We work hard, and we're serious about what we do. But we like to have a good time, too. In fact, we run our company with that principle in mind every day: One of our core values is fun.

About the Role

We are looking for a driven self starter to join our team of product managers. With Workday VNDLY, you'll have the opportunity to partner in building software that brings immediate value to our customers.

This role will work closely with product development teams through design, development, testing, release, and maintenance of the product to ensure quality and successful launch of features.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate across stakeholders, including customers, partners, professional services and development teams to understand their desired business outcomes and priorities.

  • Embody a continuous delivery mindset, with a "test and learn" mentality that puts users at the center of ideation, design, and execution.

  • Influence the product vision & strategy, and drive execution against a planned roadmap.

  • Drive solution design for each release based on user requirements, technical architecture, and business outcomes.

  • Guide product teams towards high value outcomes.

  • Support education and adoption of features.

  • Coordinate and align solution design across multiple teams operating in a sophisticated distributed software environment.

  • Lead technical discussions with key internal and external stakeholders / customers.

  • Additional duties as assigned to support a dynamic and fast-growing product.

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of SaaS product management, consulting, pre-sales, or customer success experience - preferably in enterprise cloud solutions.

  • 8+ years of experience working cross-functionally with customers, product development, marketing and customer success to drive product growth

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Other Qualifications

  • Technical aptitude and familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and implementation.

  • Preferred experience in external workforce management, vendor management systems (VMS), or contingent workforce program management (preferably direct Workday VNDLY experience).

  • Drives Business Outcomes: Influences decisions, negotiates, leads, and uses strategic thinking for long-term plans and competitive advantage.

  • Customer-Centric Focus: Advocates for customers, using empathy and feedback to improve satisfaction, loyalty, and identify product enhancements.

  • Data-Informed Decision Making: Uses data analysis (quantitative and qualitative trends) and research to find patterns, inform conclusions, guide strategy, manage risk, and evaluate outcomes.

  • Collaboration and Management: Collaborates effectively across teams, resolving conflict; engages stakeholders early to gain support and alignment.

  • Domain Expertise: Possesses or can gain deep knowledge to offer expert insights and strategic guidance.

  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, high attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple competing priorities

  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong verbal and written communication.

Our Approach to Flexible Work

With Flex Work, we're combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.

Pursuant to applicable Fair Chance law, Workday will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.

Workday is an Equal Opportunity Employer including individuals with disabilities and protected veterans.

At Workday, we are committed to providing an accessible and inclusive hiring experience where all candidates can fully demonstrate their skills. If you require assistance or an accommodation at any point, please email accommodations@workday.com.
