The Work
ICF Next is seeking a Content Developer & Asset Management Specialist to support a high-visibility federal outreach and engagement program serving military-affiliated communities. This role supports outreach campaigns and engagement activities through development of communications materials and management of outreach assets and inventories.
The Content Developer & Asset Management Specialist develops outreach content supporting campaigns and events while managing asset tracking, storage, organization, and reuse processes. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced, task-driven federal environment.
The ideal candidate brings experience supporting communications campaigns, content development, and digital asset organization while ensuring consistency, accessibility, and adherence to government standards.
Job Location
Remote. This position primarily supports remote operations and collaboration activities in support of a federal client environment. Periodic travel or onsite support within the Washington, DC Metro Area may be required based on client and contract activities.
What You Will Do
  • Develop outreach and engagement content supporting campaigns, events, and stakeholder initiatives
  • Create and maintain communications materials, presentations, digital content, and outreach assets aligned with engagement objectives
  • Manage outreach asset inventories, digital file organization, tracking, storage, and reuse processes
  • Maintain version control, templates, metadata organization, and file management processes across communications assets
  • Coordinate with communications and outreach teams to ensure content consistency and alignment with campaign objectives
  • Support content revisions, formatting updates, and asset preparation across communications deliverables
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure accuracy, accessibility, consistency, and adherence to government standards
  • Manage multiple assignments and deadlines within structured workflow and task management environments
  • Support rapid-turn content and asset management requests in response to evolving program priorities

Basic Qualifications
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in communications, marketing, English, journalism, information management
  • 3+ years of professional experience in content development, communications, outreach support, digital asset management, or related field

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience developing outreach, engagement, or communications materials
  • Experience managing digital asset inventories, file management systems, or content libraries
  • Strong writing, editing, organizational, and content management skills
  • Experience supporting federal government communications or outreach initiatives
  • Familiarity with digital asset management practices, metadata organization, and version control processes
  • Familiarity with accessibility, Section 508, and plain language best practices
  • Experience working within structured workflow or task management environments

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$55,665.00 - $104,094.00
