Farm Credit of Southern Colorado (FCSC) is seeking a Content Marketing Manager to join our team. This position is full time, working approximately 40 hours a week, and is benefits eligible. Up to 40% travel may be required to sufficiently support other locations within territory.

Position Summary:
Farm Credit of Southern Colorado is seeking a strategic, creative, and data-driven Content Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of integrated content initiatives that strengthen brand awareness, deepen customer relationships, generate qualified leads, and support the organization's long-term growth strategy across Southern and Eastern Colorado.
This role will help shape how the association tells the story of agriculture, rural communities, and customer success through compelling multimedia content, campaign execution, digital engagement, and owned media channels. The Content Marketing Manager will play a central role in supporting enterprise go-to-market initiatives, Salesforce Marketing Cloud campaigns, customer experience priorities, and the "We Farm This Land" brand platform.
The ideal candidate combines strong storytelling ability with strategic marketing expertise, understands how content drives business growth, and can translate complex agricultural finance topics into engaging and accessible communications.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Content Development
  • Develop and execute quarterly integrated content marketing plans and strategies aligned to organizational growth priorities.
  • Lead content planning and editorial calendars across campaigns, seasonal priorities, customer journeys, and brand initiatives.
  • Support enterprise marketing initiatives including:
    • "We Farm This Land" campaign development and amplification
    • Highlighting the rich subject-matter expertise and experience of Farm Credit of Southern Colorado's lending, insurance, and rural first teams.
    • Customer experience and engagement programs
    • Lead generation and nurturing campaigns
    • Rural community storytelling
    • Recruitment and employer branding initiatives
  • Ensure all content reflects the mission, values, and voice of Farm Credit of Southern Colorado and its strategic messaging framework.

Campaign & Digital Marketing Execution
  • Create and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns across:
    • Email marketing
    • Social media
    • Website and landing pages
    • Video and podcast content
    • Digital advertising
    • Organic and paid content distribution
  • Partner closely with marketing leadership to support strategic go-to-market initiatives and audience segmentation efforts.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce Marketing Cloud stakeholders to develop automated content journeys, lead nurturing workflows, and campaign assets.
  • Optimize content for SEO, digital engagement, and conversion performance.

Storytelling & Brand Development
  • Identify and elevate compelling customer, producer, and community stories across Southern and Eastern Colorado.
  • Conduct interviews and develop written, video, and multimedia content highlighting:
    • Agriculture and rural lifestyles
    • Customer success stories
    • Industry insights and trends
    • Association expertise and thought leadership
  • Support the VP of Strategic Marketing with expanding executive visibility initiatives, including CEO and leadership communications, LinkedIn content, and thought leadership opportunities.
  • Maintain strong brand consistency across all touchpoints.

Analytics & Performance Optimization
  • Monitor campaign and content performance using analytics platforms and CRM reporting tools.
  • Develop actionable insights and recommendations to improve:
    • Audience engagement
    • Lead conversion
    • Website traffic
    • Content effectiveness
    • Marketing ROI
  • Build and present regular performance reporting to marketing leadership.
  • Use customer data and behavioral insights to inform future content planning and strategy.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Partnership & Event Management
  • Partner with business development, operations, finance, HR, and executive leadership teams to align messaging and communications priorities.
  • Coordinate with external creative agencies, media partners, freelancers, photographers, and videographers as needed.
  • Support organizational events, community outreach efforts, and strategic sponsorship activations, including leading the FCSC swag and giveaway inventory management process for organizational events, new hires, and other giveaway opportunities.

Minimum Qualifying Characteristics:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Agriculture Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in content marketing, digital marketing, communications, or brand strategy.
  • Demonstrated experience managing integrated marketing campaigns and content calendars.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, interviewing, and storytelling skills.
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce & Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Strong understanding of social media strategy, SEO, email marketing, and digital analytics.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Preferred: Experience in agriculture, rural banking, financial services, or cooperative organizations.
  • Preferred: Video production, photography, podcasting, or multimedia storytelling experience
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, CMS platforms, and digital advertising tools.
  • Preferred: Experience building customer journey content strategies and lead generation funnels
  • Preferred: Knowledge of Colorado agriculture and rural communities
