Job Title: Logistics Specialist - Cross Border Execution (XBE)
Job Description
Join a dynamic team that plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing freight movement across international borders, focusing on the drayage segment. You will oversee freight movement between countries, ensuring compliance and efficiency, and coordinate short-haul trucking from ports or border crossings to fulfillment centers or warehouses.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the movement of goods across international borders, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Coordinate short-haul trucking from ports or border crossings to fulfillment centers or warehouses.
- Act as a central point for resolving transportation issues involving carriers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Ensure loads are visible on the app using Excel and portals.
- Manage disruptions on the portal.
- Run reports, such as analyzing why a container sat without movement.
- Track containers within your region.
- Report verbally on developments within your scope.
- Conduct deep dives into container information and delays, and present findings.
- Work with Excel for container tracking, utilizing pivots and VLOOKUPs.
- Communicate effectively via Chime, Slack, email, and other platforms.
- Handle individual workloads with assigned volume and book of business.
- Move containers across the supply chain line, tracking data and discovering nuances.
Essential Skills
- Strong computer literacy, particularly with Excel.
- Problem-solving abilities and proactive thinking.
- Experience in operations support, logistics, supply chain, transportation, freight, third-party logistics, and vendor management.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in account management or vendor management roles supporting logistics.
- Customer/account management experience handling customer accounts is an alternative.
- Expertise in MS Access and SQL is a plus.
- Experience in manufacturing, transportation, customer service, and/or distribution environments.
- Data management and quality control experience with large datasets.
- Demonstrated experience using data for root cause elimination and process improvement.
- Self-starter with a passion for data and trend spotting.
Work Environment
Training occurs Monday through Friday in-office. Post-training, you will work remotely on Tuesdays. Standard working hours are from 8 AM to 4:30 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, AZ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
