Role Overview
We are looking for a Part-Time PR Specialist / Consultant to lead media strategy and execution across both B2B tech and consumer-facing brands. This role is ideal for someone who understands how to translate complex products into compelling narratives, build strong relationships with media, and drive earned coverage that supports go-to-market goals.
You will work closely with our internal strategy team and founders to shape positioning, pitch stories, and secure high-impact media placements.

Key Responsibilities:
Media Strategy & Narrative Development

  • Develop PR strategies aligned with product stage (MVP to launch to scale, growth)
  • Craft compelling narratives for emerging tech (AI, robotics, SaaS) and consumer-facing products
  • Translate technical concepts into clear, media-friendly story angles
Media Relations & Outreach
  • Build and manage relationships with tech, business, and consumer/lifestyle media
  • Pitch and secure coverage across top-tier and niche publications
  • Coordinate interviews, embargoes, and media briefings
Campaign Execution
  • Lead PR efforts for product launches, fundraising announcements, and major events (e.g., CES)
  • Develop press materials including press releases, media kits, and talking points
  • Manage outreach pipeline and follow-ups
Media Intelligence & Reporting
  • Identify relevant journalists, editors, and creators
  • Monitor trends across tech and consumer media landscapes
  • Track performance metrics such as coverage quality and message pull-through
  • Provide insights and recommendations for optimization
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with strategy, content, and GTM teams
  • Support narrative testing and positioning refinement
  • Align PR efforts with broader marketing and growth objectives
Qualifications:


Required

  • 5+ years of PR experience in tech and/or consumer media
  • Strong relationships with U.S.-based journalists and media outlets
  • Proven track record of securing meaningful media coverage
  • Experience working with startups or high-growth companies
  • Excellent storytelling and writing skills

  • Experience supporting U.S. market entry for global companies
