Job description

Job Description One Tech Engineering is searching for Construction Supervisor for a position located in Becker, Minnesota. The Construction Supervisor will be responsible for construction and commissioning of high voltage substations associated with the solar project. The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card.

The candidate must have 5 to 7 years of previous high voltage electrical experience/background. Construction Supervisor Responsibilities: Involved in the communication and planning for the installation and commissioning of the entire substation. Take part of coordination meetings with transmission installation and with substation construction.

Conduct research, planning, and review of execution plans, and commissioning plans. Be on-site to verify that contractors are executing installations according to the project plans. Working with the executive or upper-level management of the site in addition to the contractor site construction team.

Manages the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation. Accountable for meeting agreed-upon scope, cost, schedule, and quality measures. Develops project plan and drives project milestones.

Establishes effective communication plan with the project team and key stakeholders. Provides day-to-day direction to project resources and ensures the project teams are provided the resources and support that enable the teams to reach their defined objectives. Ensures effective change management occurs throughout the project.

Responsible for the preparation of documentation and status reports. Requirements of the Construction Supervisor: 5-7 years of previous high voltage electrical experience/background. Knowledge of high voltage electricity, substations, transmission lines and their associated components.

Experience with installation and the commissioning of high voltage sub yards. Experience with Adobe Pro, Procore/PM Web software for communication. Proficient with SharePoint and MS Office suite.

Strong communication skills
