Job description

SUMMARY
The Construction Team Leader will use their skills to lead the construction team to complete various projects
throughout the nursery.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

functions. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
1. Collaborates with construction coach and construction craftsman concerning capital projects and other
projects throughout the nursery.
2. Estimates equipment, tools and other materials required for the job.
3. Builds, dismantles and repairs structures, walls, roofs, glass and siding as assigned.
4. Coordinate assignments and lead labor assigned to accomplish task.
5. Terrace repair and maintenance as necessary.
6. Performs other related duties to benefit the mission of the company as assigned.

SUPERVISION TO BE RECEIVED:

Reports to the Construction Coach

• Must have a basic knowledge of hand and power tools.

• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Open to feedback.
• Punctual and highly organized.
• Willingness to learn new skills and jobs.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English highly desirable.
• Enjoy working in a team environment and being supportive of co-workers.
• Excellent driving skills and ideally, experience driving a tractor, forklift or heavy equipment.
• Basic math, reading and writing skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• At least 3 years’ experience as Construction Craftsman or related job.
