Controls Technician-Pittsburgh, PA-Building Systems Company
POSITION:
  • Sr. or Jr. Field Controls Technician (Project-Side; Construction-Side)
LOCATION:
  • Pittsburgh, PA
ABOUT COMPANY:
  • Building Systems Technology Company (primarily Building Automation but also offer Lighting and Fire Detection services)
  • Clientele: Class A Commercial Building, Healthcare, K-12 Schools, Universities, Laboratories, etc.
  • Operates in 2 States / Metro-Markets
  • Reps multiple BAS Controls product-lines with one being an Open-IP for Tridium Niagara integration
  • Company does A LOT of Tridium Integration
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Mentor up-and-coming Controls Technicians and assist with their growth
  • Primarily in the field, traveling to various sites in the Pittsburgh Metro
  • Point-to Point-Check-Out / Commissioning
  • Ability to create a program from a library/canned program/template
  • Communication Integration: BACnet, LON, Modbus, etc.
  • Troubleshooting
  • Controls installation
  • Rewriting Sequences
  • Working with some graphics
