Job description

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious CDL Construction Dump Truck Driver to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a Class A CDL and proven experience operating end dumps, side dumps, and belly dump trucks in a construction environment. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate end dump, side dump, and belly dump trucks on construction sites, highways, and other work locations.

  • Transport and deliver construction materials such as gravel, rock, asphalt, sand, and soil to designated project sites.

  • Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.

  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, load tickets, and required paperwork.

  • Work closely with dispatchers, site supervisors, and crew members to ensure timely and efficient material deliveries.

  • Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company standards to prevent accidents and maintain a safe work environment.

  • Perform minor truck maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Double and Triple endorsements prefered.

  • Minimum 1 year experience operating dump trucks in a construction or heavy civil environment.

  • Proficiency with end dumps, side dumps, and belly dumps required.

  • Clean driving record with no major violations.

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and maintain a drug-free status throughout employment.

  • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.

  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions and adapt to changing job requirements.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
