Project Coordinator (Purchasing & Estimating)

At Sineath Construction, every great project starts long before construction begins. Behind every successful custom home, renovation, and light commercial project is a team that plans carefully, purchases strategically, and keeps every detail organized from day one.

We're looking for a Purchasing & Estimating Coordinator who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to grow their career in construction operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently working as a Project Coordinator, Assistant Project Manager, Production Coordinator, Purchasing Assistant, or similar role who wants to take on greater responsibility and develop into a leadership position.

You'll work closely with our leadership team, learning the estimating and purchasing side of the business, with a clear path to advance into a Purchasing & Estimating Manager role within 1-2 years for the right person.

What You'll Do

As the Purchasing & Estimating Coordinator, you'll support the planning and procurement process that keeps our projects running smoothly.

  • Assisting with estimating custom homes, renovations, and light commercial projects
  • Performing material takeoffs from plans and specifications
  • Creating and issuing purchase orders
  • Coordinating material orders and tracking deliveries
  • Communicating with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather pricing
  • Supporting budget updates and cost tracking
  • Helping maintain scopes of work and vendor documentation
  • Coordinating site visits with vendors and trade partners
  • Working with project managers and field staff to ensure materials and information are available when needed
  • Maintaining accurate records and project documentation
Who We're Looking For

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, problem-solving, and helping projects succeed behind the scenes.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in U.S. residential or light commercial construction purchasing, estimating, project coordination, or related construction operations
  • Working knowledge of construction terminology, materials, trades, and building practices
  • Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel and other construction software tools
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and follow-through
  • Authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional travel to project sites, vendor locations, and meetings

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience performing takeoffs or assisting with estimating
  • Experience creating purchase orders or coordinating material procurement
  • Familiarity with JobTread, Buildertrend, or similar construction management software
Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $60,000-$70,000 depending on experience
