Job description

Nuovo Artistic Studios is the premier destination for all things self-love. A by-women company and one of the largest artistic photography companies in North America, Nuovo is on a mission to empower individuals by fostering confidence and self-expression while celebrating intimacy and individuality.

We're looking for a Construction Intern to join our Construction Team. You will support the Construction Department with the day-to-day operational, administrative, and coordination work behind our studio construction projects. This internship offers hands-on experience in construction project management, procurement, scheduling, and cost tracking while collaborating with multiple departments across the company. You'll work closely with the Construction Project Manager to help build systems, improve processes, and contribute to projects that haveย  a lasting impact on the department.ย 

This Internship will take place from August 31st to December 18th, 2026

What You'll Do:

  • Support subcontractor bidding by tracking responses, following up with vendors and assisting with bid comparisonsย 
  • Assist with procurement activities and coordinate outstanding vendor action itemsย 
  • Help develop and maintain standard scopes of work and finish specifications
  • Build and organize a historical construction cost database using past project information
  • Take meeting minutes and support project documentation
  • Coordinate with IT, R&D, Marketing and Design teams to help maintain project scheduled and cross-functional timelinesย 
  • Create and maintain internal tracking tools, including schedules, budgets, and action logsย 
  • Monitor project progress against schedule and budget targetsย 

Requirements

About You:
  • Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field.ย 
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detailย 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheetsย 
  • Comfortable creating and maintaining spreadsheets, trackers and project documentation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to follow up with vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Proactive, resourceful, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environmentย
