RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION MANAGER
Rummel Construction, Inc. is seeking a Residential Construction Manager to support our construction management division, RCCM, LLC. Since 2012, RCCM, LLC. has been providing top of the line construction management services for residential master-planned communities in the Phoenix Metro area. We are well known for delivering a high-quality product, safely, and on or ahead of schedule. As a Construction Manager, you will be assigned to one or more projects. Our business is outside, so you should be able to work effectively in all weather conditions (summer heat, winter cold, even rainy and humid days).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to keeping trade-contractors, designers, and consultants on track to deliver a high-quality product that meets the owners, and municipality requirements. Monitoring construction progress, collaborating with multiple teams, communicating, and complying with safety/municipality requirements are essential to success in this position. The main workload will be concentrated on field supervision of trade contractors, reviewing plans, managing trade contractors' schedules and quality of work, facilitating meetings between all stakeholders involved in the projects.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in residential master-planned community development is a plus
  • A college degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field is a plus
  • Knowledge of multiple trades including but not limited to: wet utilities, dry utilities, concrete, landscaping, paving, grading, signage, SWPPP, PM10 requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong personal organizational skills
  • Able to manage time appropriately and assign priority to your work duties
  • Must be a strong decision-maker based on analysis of the situations encountered
  • Develop and maintain relationships with municipalities, trade partners, and owners
  • Must be a self-starter and manage time with minimal supervision
