Heartline Staffing is hiring a Director of Construction Management Services for Willdan Energy Solutions in the New York City Region.
Willdan Energy Solutions provides engineering, energy, and construction management services supporting infrastructure modernization, energy efficiency, and construction projects for public agencies, utilities, and commercial clients.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Director of Construction Management Services reports to the Vice President of Construction and is responsible for overseeing construction management services throughout the New York City region. This position manages a portfolio of approximately five to ten concurrent projects with construction values ranging from $2 million to $50 million.
The Director supervises Project Managers, Resident Engineers, Inspectors, and support personnel while providing oversight for project execution, staffing, client relationships, quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Primary responsibilities include:
Direct construction management operations throughout the New York City region.
Manage multiple concurrent construction projects from planning through completion.
Monitor project scope, schedule, budget, and overall project performance.
Serve as the executive point of contact for contractual issues and client concerns.
Develop staffing plans and coordinate resources across multiple projects.
Support business development activities and proposal preparation.
Lead meetings with clients, public agencies, and regulatory organizations.
Develop and mentor Project Managers, Resident Engineers, Inspectors, and construction staff.
Coordinate recruitment and retention efforts with Human Resources.
Review construction means and methods, constructability reviews, QA/QC programs, change orders, and claims.
Promote the use of construction technology where appropriate.
Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, NYC Department of Buildings regulations, permitting requirements, and company safety standards.
COMPENSATION
$175,000-$200,000 Annual Salary

On-Site
Travel to project sites throughout the New York City region is required.
