Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, is partnering with a dynamic municipality to recruit a Litigation Deputy Division Chief. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity in Atlanta, GA.

Position Details
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Duration: 6-12 months, potential for permanent placement
  • Hours: 40/week
  • Location: Onsite in Atlanta, 4 days in office, 1 day remote
  • Compensation: $80/hr
Candidate Requirements
  • Client is seeking an attorney with 15+ years of litigation experience to lead their legal department’s litigation team
  • Main job responsibilities will be: defending against civil claims; managing and coordinating with outside counsel on same; establishing and maintaining department’s budget; acting as supervisor/manager for other attorneys in the department, e.g., providing coaching, guidance, and feedback
  • Ideal candidates will have experience managing people, teams, processes, and litigation workflows
  • License to practice law in Georgia, active and in good standing, is required
