What we need

We are seeking a Systems Analyst who will serve as the functional and systems subject matter expert for Manhattan Active Transportation Management (MATM). You will bridge the gap between business needs and system capabilities-handling configuration, data setup, integration, testing, and operational support across EXOL's North American transportation operations (Retail, Wholesale, eCommerce, and 3PL).

What you'll do

Solution Delivery & MATM Configuration

  • Translate business requirements into MATM configurations, business rules, and operational workflows.

  • Manage master data setup (customers, carriers, locations, rates) and validate against business needs.

  • Support end-to-end transportation deployments and environment migrations according to EXOL standards.

Systems Integration

  • Support integrations between MATM and external systems (ERP, MAWM, carrier platforms, EDI networks, parcel providers).

  • Participate in data mapping reviews, transaction validation, and carrier onboarding/connectivity.

  • Troubleshoot data flows, interfaces, and transaction issues.

Testing & Deployment

  • Develop and execute SIT/UAT scenarios, document test results, and manage defect resolutions.

  • Support cutover planning, go-live execution, and post-production hypercare/stabilization.

Operations & Continuous Improvement

  • Perform root-cause analysis on system issues and drive production incident resolution.

  • Identify opportunities to optimize routing efficiency, carrier performance, and shipment visibility.

  • Maintain comprehensive functional designs, configuration docs, test scripts, and training materials.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, IT, Logistics, or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience configuring, deploying, and supporting Manhattan Active Transportation Management (MATM).

  • Strong understanding of transportation operations (Fulfillment, 3PL, Retail, or eCommerce).

  • Familiarity with APIs, middleware, and transportation EDI transactions (204, 214, 210, 990).

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills; ability to collaborate with cross-functional and customer-facing teams.

  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience integrating MATM with MAWM or ERP platforms.

  • Experience onboarding carriers via APIs/EDI across multiple modes (Parcel, LTL, FTL, Cross-dock).

  • Understanding of freight rating, settlement, audit, and customer billing processes.

  • Experience with multi-site rollouts and transportation startups.

Our environment

  • Up to 25% travel may be required. Employees must have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.

  • The employee is responsible for owning a credit card and managing expenses personally to be reimbursed on a bi-weekly basis.
