Primary Position Purpose:
This individual will be responsible to assist the Concessions Manager with effectively and profitably managing and directing all day-to-day aspects of the concession operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist Concessions Manager with weekly department scheduling, monitoring of department labor costs, budgets and forecasts.
  • Provide efficient service and quality products by maintaining positive customer and client relations through effective communication and prudent financial practices.
  • Accountable for establishing and maintaining proper safety and sanitation procedures as well as ensuring proper repair and maintenance of food service equipment.
  • Determine and control staffing levels for all events in accordance with union contract in an effort to maximize net returns to the client while maintaining satisfactory Guest Service levels.
  • Make operational recommendations and establish prices for products and services within approved budget.
  • Assist with establishing yearly food and beverage sales and profit goals, work on financial goals, cost of goods and profit plans.
  • Oversee hiring, promoting and termination of nonunion Concessions Supervisors.
  • Provide instruction on company policies and procedures to supervisors and ensure proper follow-through.
  • Ensure unit compliance with federal, state, local, and Legends regulations regarding sale of alcohol, OSHA, payroll, employment and EEO guidelines.
  • Coordinate mid-year and annual concession business plan.
  • Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:
  • The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in the foodservice industry, preferably in concessions environment for a sports or entertainment venue.
  • Must be detail-oriented and extremely organized with the ability to multi-task.
  • Must have the ability to interact with all levels of management.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of accounting policy and procedures and POS Systems is preferred
  • Must be detail-oriented and extremely organized with the ability to learn new programs and procedures quickly.
  • Customer service oriented with the ability to interact with all levels of management.
  • Must be proficient on Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must be flexible to work extend hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.

Compensation:
  • Full Time Hourly
  • Hourly Range: $34 - $36
