Job Summary:
Tusker Trail is a company that has been operational since 1977, specializing in endpoint sales and service. They are seeking a Computer Technician responsible for configuring and repairing desktop and laptop computers, ensuring they meet customer specifications and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Install components into desktop/laptop computers per order specifications
โ€ข Install and configure various operating systems based upon requirements
โ€ข Carefully follow imaging/configuration procedures to successfully image computer systems via PXE or other required method
โ€ข Where necessary, enroll computer names/mac addresses into customer database for proper imaging
โ€ข Update BIOS settings
โ€ข Perform proper QC procedures to verify imaging is successful and accurate
โ€ข Troubleshoot computer hardware issues
โ€ข Work closely with sales departments to understand customer expectations with regards to each individual order
โ€ข Respond to all sales department inquiries promptly
โ€ข Communicate missed deadlines promptly to sales teams
โ€ข Complete all necessary paperwork legibly and accurately including serial number records
โ€ข Maintain timely follow up with internal and external customers.
โ€ข Keep Outlook calendar up to date daily with scheduled appointments.
