As a Business Systems Analyst for PCL Constructors Inc. in Edmonton, Alberta (Corporate), you will contribute to our team by driving innovation through data and AI. Responsibilities
  • Translate business needs into clear technical specifications and user stories for solution development.
  • Support the design and validation of business processes, policies and information system changes.
  • Collaborate with solution architects, product owners and developers to ensure requirements are understood and implemented effectively.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including process models, requirements and user manuals.
  • Assist in the design and execution of test scripts and support user acceptance testing.

Qualifications
  • Postsecondary degree or diploma in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience in business analysis, business intelligence, or data analytics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and business processes.
  • Experience with requirements gathering, process modeling and documentation.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to execute.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies like Scrum and iterative development processes is an asset.
  • Experience supporting user acceptance testing and training is a plus.
  • Experience with AI agent development is an asset.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including planning, coordinating tasks, managing timelines and supporting delivery across cross functional teams is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of data governance, data management and business process improvement.
