IT Systems Administrator

Salary Range: $73,374.48 To $79,016.29 Annually

This position will play a crucial role in supporting the Director of Information Technology by ensuring the seamless operation of the town’s systems, networks, and peripherals. This role is vital in maintaining reliable, integrated, and secure information systems essential for running mission-critical applications and office automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Systems and Network Maintenance:
    • Assist in the implementation of policies to ensure the security and consistency of information systems.
    • Maintain and troubleshoot systems, networks, and communication systems to ensure optimal performance.
    • Ensure the reliability and security of all technology infrastructure.
  • User Support:
    • Provide timely resolution to end-user problems related to technology and communication systems.
    • Offer technical support and training to ensure efficient use of technology by all town employees.
  • Records Management:
    • Maintain accurate and understandable records of all information systems and communication systems.
    • Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible for future reference.

Qualifications:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise independent judgment in maintaining and troubleshooting information systems.
