Position Summary: As an Account Executive at LINQX, you will play a crucial role in driving market share and revenue growth. Your expertise in the LINQX software suite will be instrumental in proposing tailored software solutions and conducting demos to prospective and current customers. Join our dynamic team and contribute to the success of our software sales initiatives.

Key Roles / Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture relationships with new clients, leveraging your oilfield services experience to match customer needs with suitable software solutions.
  • Show initiative and proactivity in identifying and pursuing sales opportunities.
  • Conduct software demos to potential customers, showcasing the capabilities of the LINQX software suite.
  • Maintain and expand our existing customer base by promoting new software features and benefits through upselling and cross-selling strategies.
  • Utilize your in-depth knowledge of client use cases and industry trends to optimize sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the software development team, providing real-world use cases and valuable feedback on existing and new software features.

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of sales experience.
  • Preferred experience of five (5) or more years in the oil and gas industry.
  • Experience in drilling or Frac Engineering. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of well construction (Drilling and Cementing) as well as mud engineering processes and workflows to support software sales.
  • Utilize CRM to track client information, meetings, and sales targets.
  • Experience with LINQX or similar modeling and data acquisition software is advantageous.
  • An engineering degree in Petroleum Engineering or related extensive experience is a plus.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

Working Conditions:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Positions self to install equipment, including under desks.
  • Moves throughout the building to access files.
  • Must be able to comprehend and follow written and oral instructions.
  • Must be able to complete tasks even with frequent interruptions.
  • Must be able to use discretion and independent judgment as needed.
  •  Must be able to speak clearly on the phone and to fellow workers.
