Opportunity for hybrid schedule: No

Starting Salary Range:  AJCR $1,262-$1,404 per credit hour and in accordance with the adjunct table and determined based on relevant years of work experience provided on application and resume.

Position Summary: JCCC is looking for applicants for a part-time faculty position in the Biology Department. The ideal candidate would be expected to instruct students in either Human Anatomy or Human Anatomy & Physiology. Both courses are combined lecture and lab. The position is for Fall 2026. The ideal candidate would teach teach-to-face during the day. All applications must be be submitted to the JCCC jobs portal.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree with 18 graduate credit hours in Biology.
  • Computer literacy including ability to communicate and develop teaching materials and enter grades electronically.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with the use of appropriate computer software.
  • Demonstrate fluency in written and oral communications.
  • Successfully completed undergraduate or graduate level coursework in human anatomy and physiology.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Doctorate in Anatomy or Physiology or closely related discipline.
