The School of Information at the University of South Florida seeks to fill a 9-month, full-time, non-tenure earning Assistant Professor of Instruction position with a start date of August 7, 2026. Salary is negotiable.

Minimum qualifications: Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Information Science, Information Technology, Security Studies or a closely related discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science/Analytics, etc.) is required. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant Professor of Instruction.

Preferred qualifications: Preference will be given to applicants whose expertise and experience focuses on Cyber and/or Strategic Intelligence Tradecraft or Information Security/Cybersecurity and who have a record of successful university-level teaching experience.
