Job description

Position Description
Directly support the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), F/A-18 & EA-18G Fleet Support Team (FST) at Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW) Naval Air Station (NAS) North Island, California. Duties will include:
  • Create, modify, and test the code, and scripts that allow computer applications to run.
  • Work from specifications drawn up by software and web developers or other individuals.
  • May develop and write computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data, and information.

Experience: Has three (3) to 10 years of experience in Software Design, Development, and Test evaluation, and experience with specific Project programming languages to include at a minimum; C, C++, SQL, Oracle, Java and Visual Basic.
Education: BS or BA degree in a Computer Science or "Relevant Technical Discipline".
Current Secret clearance is required.
No per diem. Work location at NAS North Island, CA area. Start date is ASAP.
Base Salary Range: $65.00-$75.00/ per hour
This base pay range is specific to residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Washington, and any other state that may require such disclosure. Compensation in other geographies may vary.

Minimum Experience Requirements:
