Position details
Job Summary
A Computer Lab Assistants primary job is to oversee the running of the college computer lab(s) during day, evening and or weekends hours. They are to assist with the updating/maintaining the computer lab.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist with updating software and hardware in the labs.
  • Opens and closes the lab during their assigned day, evening and or weekend hours
  • Signs student into the lab/check their ID and enter required information into the digital lab log and then assigns student a computer to work at.
  • Checks lab equipment out/in for student use (media card readers, cameras, and Wacom drawling tablets)

Other Duties and Responsibilities
  • Keeps printer stocked with paper
  • Assists with keeping the labs clean and presentable (straighten and clean monitors, keyboards, desks, etc.)
  • Keeps lab environment quiet and conducive to studying

Minimum Requirements Additional Desirable Qualifications Physical Requirements
Must be able to move computers/equipment around - weight will not exceed 25 pounds.
