Position Overview

As a Team Member in our Hardware, Plumbing, Electrical, and Paint departments at Hartville Hardware, you will be a trusted resource for customers tackling projects of all kinds - from a quick fix to a full renovation. Your product knowledge and genuine desire to help will ensure every guest leaves with exactly what they need to get the job done.

This is a full-time role that requires flexibility for evenings and Saturdays, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering an outstanding customer experience in a fast-paced retail environment.

What You Will Do
  • Advise customers with the proper products to successfully complete their projects
  • Provide basic to advanced product knowledge in the areas of hardware, electrical, plumbing, and paint
  • Deliver a friendly, knowledgeable, and solutions-focused experience for every guest
  • Stock, organize, and maintain retail product on the sales floor
  • Answer incoming phone calls in a timely and professional manner
  • Participate in all team meetings and product knowledge training sessions
  • Adapt your schedule to meet department needs as they arise
