Job description

This National Guard position is for a COMPUTER ASSISTANT, Position Description Number D1074000and is part of the Oregon National Guard Army Aviation Support Facility 2, National Guard.

Qualifications:Areas of Consideration:
Area 1 - Current permanent and indefinite T32 technicians of the Oregon ARNG.
Area 2 - Current permanent and indefinite T5 employees of the Oregon ARNG.
Area 3 - Current service members in the Oregon ARNG.
GENERAL and SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Work involving the performance or supervision of data processing support and services functions for users of computer systems. Experience, training, or education which demonstrates the applicant's ability to follow directions, procedures, or systematic work methods which gives evidence of the candidate's ability to perform this work. Experience using computer and automation systems.
To Qualify for GS-05: 2 years general experience or 1 year equivalent to the next lower grade level. Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled.
To Qualify for GS-07: 1 year equivalent to at least next lower grade level. Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled.
To Qualify for GS-09: 1 year equivalent to at least next lower grade level. Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled.Education:To Qualify On Education Alone for GS-05 Only:
4 years above high school
