Job description

Electrical - Mechanical Assembly Technician

Location: Lillington, NC
Schedule: Full-Time, Temp-Perm, 6A-430P Monday-Thursday. Overtime available as needed!
Pay: $16/hr

We are seeking an experienced Electrical - Mechanical Assembly Technician to join a manufacturing team in Lillington. This is a hands-on role assembling, testing and troubleshooting complex electrical and mechanical products using drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams. 

Responsibilities:
  • Assemble electrical and mechanical components and systems
  • Read and follow blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams and detailed drawings
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools
  • Perform drilling, cutting, bending and other fabrication tasks as needed
  • Test completed electrical and mechanical assemblies
  • Troubleshoot and correct assembly or electrical issues
  • Perform and document quality inspections
  • Assist with packaging and preparing finished products for shipment
  • Maintain accurate production records and a clean, safe work area
What We're Looking For:
  • 3–5 years of electrical and/or mechanical assembly experience
  • Experience reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience using hand and power tools
  • Basic computer skills
  • High school diploma or GED; Associate degree is a plus
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
