What qualifications do I need to be a computer technician?

To become a computer repair technician, relevant qualifications typically include a high school diploma or equivalent, technical certifications such as CompTIA A+, and proficiency with hardware components, operating systems, and troubleshooting tools. What does a Computer Repair Technician do?

A Computer Repair Technician is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing hardware and software issues in computers and related devices. Their goal is to ensure computers run efficiently and securely, minimizing downtime for users or businesses.

What are some common challenges Computer Repair Technicians face in diagnosing hardware versus software issues?

Computer Repair Technicians often encounter the challenge of determining whether a problem stems from faulty hardware or a software malfunction, as symptoms can sometimes overlap.
