Facility Operations Technician - Opener Shift (Part-Time)
Step into the spotlight at DPAC as a Facility Operations Technician! This part-time role is your chance to join the behind-the-scenes heroes who ensure DPAC shines. You'll be an essential member of our team, providing vital support for our facilities and events.
At DPAC, you'll find a fun and fast-paced work environment where your contributions are vital to our success. We're looking for someone who shares our passion for live performances and is excited to contribute to our venue's excellence-especially when most of the city is asleep!
This position involves manual tasks, so we're looking for someone who's comfortable with physical work and can stay active throughout their shift. Punctuality and reliability are essential, as this role plays a key part in ensuring DPAC is ready for every performance and event.
Shift Details:
  • This is a morning shift with hours from 6:30 AM to 1:30 PM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

What You'll Do:
  • Pre-event Preparation: Includes setting up tables and chairs, verifying restroom cleanliness, unlocking doors, turning on lights, and conducting final building walkthroughs to ensure DPAC is ready to open its doors to the public.
  • Supervision: Oversee cleaning personnel to ensure thoroughness and prompt resolution of missed areas.
  • Facility Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and general maintenance tasks as required, provide immediate minor repairs, and report major repairs to your supervisor.
  • Safety Standards: Ensure compliance with safety and fire codes.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to guests, assisting with inquiries and needs.
