Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Computer Technician to join our team. This role is primarily responsible for inspecting incoming computer equipment to determine whether units should be recycled or refurbished for resale. The technician will also assist customers with technical issues related to refurbished systems.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and inspect incoming computer hardware.
  • Evaluate condition and functionality to determine recycling or refurbishment.
  • Perform basic diagnostics and repairs on refurbishable units.
  • Document inspection results and maintain inventory records.
  • Provide technical support to customers regarding refurbished computers.
  • Collaborate with the sales and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations

Some duties involve retrieving equipment from a heated work shed. Please note that the heating system may take time to warm the space, so the employee should be comfortable working in cooler temperatures for short periods.
Management Preferences
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware and troubleshooting.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Experience with computer repair or IT support is a plus.
