ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

John Hiester Automotive is currently seeking a full-time Mobile Service Technician to join our winning team! In this role, you will:

  • Provide automotive maintenance and repair services
  • Travel to customer locations to complete a variety of service tasks
  • Perform maintenance, recalls, tire, brakes, etc.
  • Inspect vehicles to identify issues and recommend solutions
  • Communicate repair recommendations and estimates to customers
  • Maintain tools, parts, and equipment inventory
  • Stay current with industry standards and safety regulations
  • Assist with additional tasks to support customers and the team

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • GM Certified Technician preferred
  • Must have a clean criminal background and pass pre-employment drug screen.
  • An active and valid driver license and good driving record.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude while working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing with various levels of internal and external customers.
  • Have strong organizational skills and be extremely detail oriented.
  • Be self-motivated and able to accomplish tasks with little supervision.

SERVICE SCHEDULE

  • Closed every Sunday
  • Monday-Friday 7:30 am- 6:00 pm (Varies Per Store)
  • Saturday 8:00 am- 5:00 pm (Varies Per Store)
  • Working a Saturday is compensated by a day off the following week
