Location: Herndon, VA or Washington DC or Riverdale, MD
Clearance Requirement: Top Secret/SCI with ability to pass a CI poly
Certification: CompTIA Security+ ce
Salary: 140k-160k w/excellent benefits Position Description:
Operate and maintain a virtual system environment. Interact with developers and infrastructure support team to provide vendor application support. Support and develop SOPs that provide policies and standards for sustainment of customer systems and resources. Operate and maintain all Production, Pre-Production, and Development systems in a Windows environment. Configure and install software on virtual systems in AWS and/or VMware. Implement and monitor the Enterprise Windows Servers testing and installation of patches, updates, additional tools and future versions of all software on a regular basis. Meet compliance for Information Security Vulnerability Management (ISVMs) and Intelligence Community Vulnerability Alert (ICVAs) and provide support for DoD STIGS. Perform Systems Lifecycle management including planning, implementation, maintenance, upgrades, consolidation, and decommissioning of enterprise hardware, and software. Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the system is compatible with defined architecture and meets customer needs. Position Qualifications:
• Shall have 5 or more years of hands-on experience providing O&M support of enterprise server operating systems (OSs) and server applications and services across multi-platform information systems varying in size and complexity (LAN, MAN, WAN, etc.).
• Experience with system hardening and security by implementing Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and patching.
•Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) / Cloud environment.
•Experience with maintaining applications built on a SQL Server database in a Windows environment.
• Demonstrated experience of having a strong understanding of core IT Networking protocols, including but may not be limited to, SSH, SCP, FTP, SSL, PKI, VPN, SNMP, etc. Education: Bachelor Degree from accredited University Certification:
