Compliance Testing Technician – Protect the Environment with a Trusted Industry Leader


Job Overview

  • Location: Morgantown, West Virginia (Remote / Field Operations)
  • Job/Employment Type: Full Time
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Project Scope: Commercial, Industrial, Government, and Federal EPA Compliance


The Opportunity

You will play a vital role in protecting local communities and the environment by ensuring underground storage systems operate safely. This position gives you the autonomy to manage field assignments independently while receiving robust technical support from an industry leader. You will have a direct impact on corporate and federal environmental safety compliance every single day.


How You Will Make an Impact

  • Execute precision testing of underground storage tank systems to meet EPA guidelines.
  • Inspect mechanical and containment components to successfully eliminate environmental risk factors.
  • Document and analyze field data accurately using provided corporate digital technologies.
  • Maintain company service vehicles and precision testing equipment in peak operational condition.
  • Communicate environmental compliance findings clearly to remote managers and commercial clients.
  • Adhere strictly to industry safety protocols to ensure an accident-free work site.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with your hands.
  • Proficiency using technical tools and digital programs including Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver’s license with an excellent, safe driving record.
  • Willingness to travel regionally up to 30% of the time with occasional overnights.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders up to 20 feet.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • 2 or more years of experience in a mechanical, environmental, or field service role.
  • Military veterans are highly encouraged to apply as transferable technical skills are valued.
  • Proven ability to manage a remote field schedule with minimal daily supervision.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
