Compliance Analyst Job Type

Performs routine monitoring of both clients’ transactions and profiles in order to assure compliance with laws, regulations, and corporate guidelines & procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Executes routine monitoring of transactions by performing the following tasks:
  • Coordinates, completes, and compiles data, documentation, and logs for regulatory submission and/or examination preparation.
  • Reviews and analyzes retail and commercial monthly transactions for compliance purposes.
  • Verifies and evaluates completeness and compliance of cases according to procedures.
  • Completes quality control functions, such as the review of retail and commercial lending.
  • Analyzes customer transactions to validate that are aligned to their profiles by identifying patterns, behaviors of transactions, among others.
  • Completes quality checks of both technical and manual processes required by procedures.
Education

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

At least two (2) years related experience in a compliance, legal and high audited environment.

Experience performing BSA/AML analysis functions.

Other Qualifications
  • Fluent oral and written communication in English is required.
  • Strong power user of MS Office applications: Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint.
  • Ability to comply with last-minute requests in a quickly and accurately manner.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to perform different assignments under pressure.
  • Effective interpersonal relationships with internal customers, management and team members.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and IT skills.
