Job Title: Program Manager Job Category: Project and Program Management Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US * * * The Opportunity: CACI/Space's Radar and Sensor Technologies group is seeking a program manager to manage a portfolio of smaller programs that we hope to grow in the next few years. As program manager, you will be helping oversee the development and implementation of cutting edge radar algorithms and software working with emerging technology side-by-side with our technical experts. Interested candidates must be strong at execution, financial forecasting, communicating with customers, and with an eye for opportunities to grow the program.
The position is based in Ypsilanti, Michigan. This work requires candidates to be a US citizen holding a Top Secret Clearance with SCI. Responsibilities: * Define program scope and goals and ensure these meet overall business goals and intent.
* Develop and execute a strategic plan for a program or programs * Ensure consistent and exceptional execution that includes the timely delivery of requested products and accurate financial forecasting.
* Manage staffing to ensure team members have the right skills to accomplish tasks.
* Articulately communicate progress to customers and identify opportunities to propose growth areas in line with the business' expertise. * Strong presentation skills that describe highly technical accomplishments at the appropriate level for both customers and internal business audiences.
* Ability to anticipate risks or challenges and proactively communicate and/or mitigate. Qualifications: Required: * TS//SCI clearance.
* Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. In lieu of a degree, 7-10 years of experience may be substituted. * Demonstrated experience leading a program or product line and responsibility for managing the execution and growth of that program/product * Familiarity with managing people, a schedule, and a budget
* Background working with military or intelligence community customers and familiarity in providing deliverables and presentations succinctly and at the appropriate technical level for the audience.
* Scrum/Agile Development knowledge and experience with Jira
* Ability to mentor and develop the next generation of technical and program leaders in the business
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and a passion for solving hard problems
* Work 100% onsite Desired: * Programming skills, C++, Python, or Rust in particular
* Knowledge of or background in radar or electro-optical fields
* Experience in digital signal processing
