Job description

Marketing Specialist - Patient Acquisition
Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry Cary, NC (HQ) Full-time, on-site with monthly travel to Charlotte
About the role
We're a 70+ location dental group across NC, SC, and VA, and we're hiring a Marketing Specialist to drive new patient growth at the local level. This is a boots-on-the-ground role, not a desk-only one. You'll build relationships in the communities our practices serve, run grassroots outreach, and support the digital side of patient acquisition.
This role is based in our Cary HQ, with approximately one week per month on-site in the Charlotte market executing local marketing strategy. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel are required.
What you'll do
Plan and execute grassroots and community outreach: local events, health fairs, schools, employers, and referral partnerships
Build and maintain relationships with community organizations and referral sources in assigned markets
Support local SEO efforts, including Google Business Profile management, review generation, and location page accuracy
Coordinate with practice teams on promotions, open house events, and new office launches
Track campaign and outreach performance; report on new patient volume by source
Manage social content and paid local campaigns in partnership with our marketing vendors
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
2-4 years of marketing, sales, or business development experience - enough to work independently, early enough in your career to grow with us
Strong customer service orientation; you're comfortable walking into a business or event and starting a conversation
Familiarity with local SEO fundamentals, social media platforms, and basic analytics
Excellent written and verbal communication
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to Charlotte approximately one week per month
Nice to have
Healthcare, dental, or multi-site/retail marketing experience
Experience with Google Business Profile, Meta Ads Manager, or CRM platforms
Why us
Competitive salary, health/dental/vision, PTO, 401(k), and dental benefits for you and your family. You'll have real ownership of your markets and direct visibility into how your work moves the needle.
Serious applicants only. Please include a brief note describing a community outreach or local marketing effort you personally executed and its result.
Benefits
  • Medical, dental & vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • 100% employer-paid short-term disability, life insurance & telemedicine
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Flexible Spending Account
  • Health Savings Account
  • Pet insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Supportive leadership and career advancement opportunities
