Job Opportunity: Community Outreach Representative

This role is based in Raleigh, NC, and candidates must reside in the area.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve or surpass weekly and monthly targets for qualified leads.
- Support local market sales objectives by collaborating with direct sales teams on lead generation and public presentations.
- Build and nurture relationships with influential community members and seniors to create lead-generating events and enhance brand recognition.
- Organize and participate in monthly events, including health fairs and seminars at various community venues such as senior centers and churches.
- Distribute approved marketing materials and collaborate with marketing and compliance teams for the development of promotional content.
- Plan and conduct Quarterly New Member Orientations and educational events in the community.
- Inform the community about our services, benefits, and available medical providers.
- Enhance brand visibility and identity for our organization and its offerings.
- Maintain a monthly activity calendar and ensure all events are documented.
- Provide weekly summaries of activities and submit reports regularly.
- Engage in special projects aimed at generating leads for the organization.
- Lead advertised sales meetings within the designated territory.
- Visit local medical offices to educate staff about our products and distribute promotional materials for referrals.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience:
- Required: At least two (2) years of experience in grassroots marketing and lead generation at local community events.
- Preferred: Over five (5) years of experience in healthcare, particularly in healthcare marketing or related fields within the Medicare and Medi-Cal Managed Care sectors.
- Education:
- Required: High School Diploma or GED; a Bachelor's degree or four (4) additional years of relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree.
- Specialized Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with diverse groups, including management, employees, and vendors.
- Mathematical skills for performing calculations and analyzing simple statistics.
- Advanced problem-solving abilities and the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
- Organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Capability to analyze and interpret statistical reports.
Licensure and Other Requirements
- Licensure:
- Required: A valid state driver’s license, car insurance, and vehicle registration.
- Required: State Insurance license or the ability to obtain one within six months of hire.
- Other:
- Regular travel by car (80% or more) within the assigned market.
- Occasional travel by plane as necessary.
- Reliable transportation is essential.
- Extended work hours may be required.
- Must be fully vaccinated.
- Remote work may be permitted with prior approval.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is between $49,486.00 and $74,228.00. Compensation may vary based on factors such as location, education, responsibilities, and experience.
