POSITION SUMMARY

As an Assistant Manager, you'll put your customer service and property management experience to work in assisting your Community Manager in all community operations with an emphasis on accounts payable. You'll have direct contact with our customers and will serve a key role in leasing apartments and maintaining and enhancing our customer service platform.

Our Assistant Managers are critical members of our team. They're responsible for providing great customer service - the cornerstone of the RedPeak experience – and keeping the community running smoothly.

WHAT YOU'll DO

Actively support fellow team members and CM through ongoing mentoring, learning opportunities, and effective communication. As second in command, take a leadership role with resident relations and fellow team members through knowledgeable, confident support.

  • Leads team and supervises vendors to ensure all residents receive professional service in every area property operations.
  • Work with leasing staff to ensure leasing/marketing goals are being met Increase/maintain occupancy by aiding in leasing functions.
  • Positively impact RedPeak's reputation through effective Emotional Intelligence and communication skills.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and create thoughtful customer and team member experiences. Demonstrate and uphold RedPeak service expectations, ensuring minimal resident turnover.
  • Walk apartments and prepare move-in gifts to ensure readiness for future residents; prepare keys and change locks for future move-ins.
  • Maintain a positive living environment for community residents through prompt conflict resolution and consistent follow-up.
  • Ensure adherence to RedPeak standards by monitoring curb appeal, timely and effective lead management response, and audits to guarantee compliance.
  • Ensures the properties under management are maintained to the highest standards vs. comparable properties in the market.
  • Assist Community Manager in day-to-day community operations, ensuring that all RedPeak policies and procedures are being followed; ensures all team members are current on training.
  • Maintain positive relations with all community vendors; provide vendors with applicable service expectations and obtain and approve bids for vendor-aided community projects ensuring coverage of necessary scope of work.
  • Manage daily accounting practices to ensure accurate billing, cash flow management, delinquency management, and month-end reporting processes.
  • Monthly management and payment of community invoices; approving and coding invoices for payment.
  • Monthly posting of rent charges including utility charges if applicable; rent collection and delinquency management; managing write-offs and collection accounts.
  • Maintain a stabilized fiscal operation; including all aspects of overall community budget and finances and achieve objectives for property financial performance.
  • Completes all property financials, reporting, and analysis according to schedule and owner/investor requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Concierge Team to ensure all non-recurring resident service charges are entered.
  • Review and report any variances from annual budget to Community Manager.

  • General office, bookkeeping and sales skills
  • Computer literate, including Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency with email and Internet platforms

Position Details

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00am-6:00pm
  • Pay: $25-$28/hour, plus bonuses
  • Multi-Site: 258 Apartments, 4 Buildings
  • Office Located at: 5901 Pierce St. Arvada, CO 80003
