• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals and families, addressing a variety of mental health issues and determining appropriate intervention strategies.
• Collaborate closely with our interdisciplinary team, communicating findings and treatment plans, ensuring that all documentation, including updates and progress notes, is accurately completed and submitted in a timely manner.
• Engage in case management for assigned patients, facilitating coordination with community resources, healthcare providers, and family members to create a cohesive care experience.
• Implement evidence-based therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to address specific client needs, demonstrating adaptability and creativity in treatment planning.
• Attend regular staff meetings and patient rounds to discuss client progress and formulate collective approaches to patient care, fostering a strong team dynamic.
• Provide ongoing support and counseling, navigating complex emotional and mental health challenges with sensitivity and professionalism.

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse range of patients, including children, adolescents, families, and adults seeking support for various mental health issues. Our practice is dedicated to creating an inclusive environment care that prioritizes each individual’s unique experiences and backgrounds, ensuring that patients receive personalized care and understanding.

• A valid and current license as a LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW in the state of New York is required.
• A bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is necessary; a master's degree is preferred.
• Ability and willingness to work anywhere from 10 to 40 hours per week, offering flexibility for session scheduling based on client needs and your availability.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, particularly in outpatient environments, is highly desirable.
• Experience with a variety of therapeutic modalities, particularly evidence-based approaches like CBT, is advantageous.
