We are looking for a motivated and energetic Show & Events Coordinator / Manager to join our team and help grow our event marketing program throughout the Richmond market.
About the Role
As the Show & Events Coordinator / Manager, you will be responsible for finding, organizing, and managing home shows, community events, and promotional opportunities that generate qualified leads for our sales team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys event planning, marketing, working with people, and building successful teams. You will recruit and train event staff, manage event schedules, and ensure each event produces strong results.
Responsibilities
  • Research and identify local shows, fairs, festivals, and community events within the Richmond territory.
  • Negotiate contracts and secure event opportunities.
  • Build and manage an annual calendar of events.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train Event Demonstrators.
  • Schedule and manage event staff.
  • Train team members on lead generation and customer engagement techniques.
  • Coordinate booth setup, displays, and event breakdown.
  • Engage with homeowners and generate qualified leads.
  • Schedule free in-home consultations for potential customers.
  • Manage contest entries and follow up with prospects.
  • Track event performance and provide regular reporting.
  • Work with the sales team to maximize lead conversion.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in event marketing, promotions, retail marketing, sales, or customer engagement preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Outgoing personality with the ability to engage with the public.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to recruit, coach, and motivate a team.
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
