Who we are looking for:

We are seeking a hands-on leader in our Community Reinvestment Act ("CRA") Team as a Community Development Manager focused on development and implementation of the Bank's Community Development plan for each the Bank's markets. This subject-matter expert role connects community needs with banking solutions, fosters impactful partnerships, ensures CRA compliance, and strengthens the Bank's performance in low- to moderate-income communities across the Bank's footprint.

In this role you will manage CRA/Community Development programs, tracking, regulatory requirements, objectives and initiatives throughout the enterprise for execution and compliance of our CRA Program.

What you'll do:

Assist the Director of CRA in administering and maintaining the CRA Program and initiatives.
*
Lead execution of the community development program and market performance in collaboration with business line leaders to achieve goals.
*
Establish strategic partnerships with Community Development and Economic Development organizations that yield tangible opportunities for the Bank.
*
Conduct annual communityfocused needs assessments, including local market conditions, CRA performance insights, and datadriven evaluations of philanthropic impact.
*
Continuously monitor federal, state, and local initiatives to anticipate shifts in public resources supporting community development.
*
Identify and support community development lending, investment and service opportunities that qualify and comply with the CRA.
*
Oversee the creation of an annual CRA Self Assessment.
*
Represent Cornerstone Capital Bank at community events, workshops/forums, and CRA/community development related meetings to expand visibility, opportunity and impact.
*
Manage Community Development Services, such as Financial Literacy events, which may include either leading or assisting with planning, coordination, and delivering the events.
*
Oversee tracking of all community development activities including lending, investments and services, and monitor quarterly performance goals.
*
Ensure that required CRA documentation is properly maintained and available for review by regulators, external auditors and internal audit.
*
Support preparations for periodic CRA examinations conducted by the applicable regulator.
*
Support CRA risk and activity reporting to the CRA Committee on a quarterly basis.
*
Monitor the regulatory environment, emerging risks, and reassess the Bank's control environment on an ongoing basis.
*
Other duties as assigned by Fair and Responsible Banking and the Enterprise Risk Management teams.

Minimum of 5 years' experience in community development, banking, and/or non-profit work

Demonstrated understanding of CRA regulatory compliance and controls utilized to implement a strong framework designed around the three lines of defense model
*
Strong analytical skills, with an ability to simplify data into concise, actionable reporting
*
Strong analytical reasoning, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
*
Ability to apply compliance regulatory requirements to complex fact patterns and problem-solve viable solutions
*
Past experience with the FDIC and/or with RiskExec/Kadince systems a plus
*
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
*
Travel required with occasionally, overnight travel, valid Driver's License
