We are looking for a rockstar Project Coordinator to assist our Project Manager(s) with the preparation and execution of work plans, construction schedules and coordination of manpower, material and equipment needs.

You are

You will

  • Schedule and participate in project meetings; recording meeting minutes and ensuring timely completion of pre/post meeting deliverables and action items
  • Administer the permit process as required, providing support for logistics to ensure seamless project operations
  • Assess project risks and issues, provide effective solutions, and ensure stakeholder views are managed to support optimal outcomes
  • Provide critical assessment of all budgets and cost projections, collaborating closely with the Project Management team to ensure financial accuracy
  • Maintain communication logs, decision logs, and project fact sheets throughout the course of projects
  • Maintain issue and risk logs to support management and project streams, capturing and tracking mitigation strategies
  • Maintain up-to-date, accurate documents for the project including drawings, plans, submittals, document logs, purchase orders, etc.
  • Reviews subcontractor/supplier progress applications and payment certificates
  • Liaises with architects, consulting engineers, subcontractors and suppliers regarding contract and change notices, design revisions, RFIs, RFQ, etc.
  • Assists with providing final document turnover to client at completion of project
  • Coordinate deficiencies in a timely manner

You have

  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in a construction-related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a project support role, preferably with an ICI General Contractor or subcontractor
  • Worked on commercial and/or institutional projects from start to finish
  • The ability to read and interpret contract specifications, drawings and other construction documents
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency with MS Office including MS Project & SharePoint
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • The ability to prioritize workload and stay on top of things as project demands increase
